I am absolutely hooked on the Brazilian Keratin Treatment! I've always had fine, frizzy, naturally curly hair. It's so frustrating to spend a lot of time and energy straightening your hair only to have it turn frizzy the second you walk outside. I'd been looking into the Japanese hair straightnening process for a while, but ultimately I decided on the Brazilian Keratin Treatment for several reasons. #1 - I wanted to have someone I trusted work with my hair and I trust Jessica at Studio G to do whatever she wants with my hair. #2 - the Japanese system is permanent and leaves no natural body or texture in your hair. I wanted straight, frizz-free hair, but I still wanted body and movement, not stick-straight hair. #3 - the Keratin treatment is actually adding healthy protein to your hair, not damaging it, and you can do it even if you color your hair.

I loved my results! The icky part- you can't wash your hair for four days. The day I washed my hair for the first time, I nearly cried. My hair was soft, straight and super shiny. It was the best my hair has ever felt or looked! No frizz, no fuss. It took me 5 minutes to dry my shoulder length hair and I haven't picked up a straight iron in two months! A few days later, we went to a concert in the hot, summer heat. Not only did my hair stay perfectly straight and not frizzy, but later when it rained- my hair dried perfectly straight.

The only downside to the Keratin treatment is that it only lasts 2-4 months. I wash my hair every day and after two months, the effects are diminishing. But overall, the treatment is the best money I ever spent on my hair.
